Fenty Strawberry Pop Match Stix Color-Adaptive Cheek + Lip Stick Review & Swatches
Strawberry Pop
Fenty Beauty Strawberry Pop Match Stix Color-Adaptive Cheek + Lip Stick ($32.00 for 0.176 oz.) is a medium-dark, fuchsia pink with cooler, blue undertones and a natural sheen. It is a pH-based product, so it may turn slightly different color pink on different skin tones. These types of products all tend to look fuchsia-ish on me in my experience.
The consistency was lightweight, thin, and emollient with more of a jelly-like feel once it was on my skin. On my lips, it seemed to lose some of that slip and just kind of felt like a subpar lip balm with a bit of tint to it that lasted less than two hours and didn’t feel hydrating. On my cheeks, it delivered sheer, blendable color that lasted about six and a half hours before fading visibly. I didn’t have issues with it lifting up my base products or going on patchy. The sheerness was in line with the marketing (even the brand’s promo swatches clearly showed it sheer! amazing!).

This sold out just a few weeks after it launched so I’m glad I bought it when I did bc I really like it. Lip & cheek products like this are just blushes for me bc they never work well on the lips.
$32 for the same “PH adaptive technology” stuff you can get at Sally’s or Claire’s is BONKERS.
For a cheek and lip product, this one actually looks quite good.
I have yet to have a good experience with a multi-use product on my lips. They are always kind of drying and have too light of a color.
I realize that this product just received a C+ rating, but this color looks so good on you, Christine! So summery and lively.
