Comments that do not adhere to our comment policy may be removed. Discussion and debate are highly encouraged but we expect community members to participate respectfully. Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Least favorite eyeshadow formula?: I imagine Clionadh mattes are better now, but the ones I have from a while ago are extremely fragile, which is problematic for me

Favorite shimmer eyeshadow formula?: Clionadh, Terra Moons, Sydney Grace

Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name (blue-green eyes, dark hair)

Least favorite eyeshadow formula? PET glitter!!! Or even chunky mica based “glitter” that falls out into my eyes (ouch!) due to it not having quite enough binder in the formula.

Favorite matte eyeshadow formula? Buildable (but not where I have to constantly dip my brush into the pan many times), smoothly applying, and where it never muddies up even when I’m using diametrically different colors, depths, etc.

Favorite shimmer eyeshadow formula? Silky application without patchiness! I love Sydney Grace, PMG Labs, Menagerie Cosmetics, Natasha Denona, Charlotte Tilbury Bejewelled palette, and certain Nomad Cosmetics palettes for those types of formulas. Some older ColourPop, too

Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones

Least favorite eyeshadow formula? Definitely matte and glitter formulas.

Favorite matte eyeshadow formula? The couple of times Ihave used a matte eyeshadow, just to try, I have found that ND”S Glam has a great matte formula and so too is UD’s original Naked 1 shade in Buck.

Favorite shimmer eyeshadow formula? Where do I start? SG, PMG, ND and Lorac are my most favoured shimmer formulas.
